Endless Preparing and Packing

Hey, so I revamped my blog, and am specifically focusing it towards my life while abroad in Prague. I decided to go to Prague because I wanted to do something a little less typical. The UK and Australia were out of the question for me, as I wanted to use this experience to learn a new language and see a different kind of living, and in my eyes, the UK and down under are just too close in culture to the US. I also didn't want to go to Italy, although I know its incredibly beautiful and historic, like I said, I want to do something a little less typical. I had heard from more than two of my friends prior to choosing Prague, that it was an incredible city, tons of fun, really cool and also breathtakingly beautiful. For me, it was kind of a no-brainer. I didn't do much research into other places or even Prague for that matter, I just kinda knew it was where I wanted to be.

So...here I am, exactly one week, almost to the hour, of when I will be arrive in Prague. I JUST received my passport with my visa back from the Czech consulate, thank god, or else I would've had a brain aneurysm. That's a huge weight of my shoulders. But they are still carrying a huge load....packing. DUN DUN DUN...

Right now, 75% of my belongings are stuffed away in a self-storage facility because about 2 weeks ago I moved out of my spacious, yet disgusting and dilapidated house, the 'Handsome Mansion'....you can Google it, and moved into a cozy apartment building where I share a bedroom with my boyfriend, our dog, and our friend Brian. So, as you can imagine, not a lot of space for my 2 suitcases and all of my shit. My next task is getting all my stuff out of storage and packing it all up the day before I leave so that we can actually walk into our bedroom. It's gonna be difficult and stressful, but it's better than staying at the Mansion.

Anyway, this was longer than I was expecting, so I'm gonna sign off, take the dog out and make some breakfast.
